Dwight began his career
in 1997. He is a graduate of the Department of Criminal Justice Training at Eastern Kentucky University.
Continuing his education in Law Enforcement, he has received in-service training in Field Training Officer 1, Defensive
Driving, Radar Certification, Basic Breath Test Operator, Patrol and Traffic Skills Revisited, and Homeland Security. Dwight has had the opportunity to train with Allen County's own, Advance Canine Academy.
Trainer Gene England provided a dual purpose narcotics detector dog which allowed the Sheriff's Department another tool
to fight the use and trafficing of illegal drugs. On June 24, 2009 Dwight was promoted to the position
of Sergeant for the Allen County Sheriff's Office. Being the first sergeant in the ACSO's history, Dwight attended the Academy
for Police Supervision Class #34 from August 17 through September 4, 2009. Dwight not only graduated from APS #34 but was
awarded the dedication and excellence award that was decided by his classmates. During this 122 hour class Dwight learned
Situational Leadership, Public Speaking, Wellness, Emotional & Social intelligence, Generational,/Diversity Issues and
Problem Solving/Decision making. In addition, Dwight is a Concealed Carry Deadly
Weapons (CCDW) instructor as well as the ACSO's Firearms Instructor

Chad began his career in 1999.
He is a graduate of the Department of Criminal Justice Training at Eastern Kentucky University.
Continuing his education in Law Enforcement, he has received in-service training in, Interview and Interrogation, Police and
Public Safety, Beyond a Traffic Ticket, Police Photography, Patrol/Traffic Skill Revisited, Terrorism, and Homeland Security,
Defensive Tactics Instructor. Chad is also the Ky-ops supervisor for the Sheriff's Office. Ky-ops is an computer
application, provided by the State of Kentucky, used to report all accident, crime, and citations to the Kentucky
State Police Records Division. Chad was also the editor of this web site.
